May I attend
any classes?
All education sessions are open to all registered attendees regardless
of the system; However you must be registered to attend specific classes. Tickets
will be collected at the door. If you are interested in sitting
in on an Executive Briefing session, please do so (you do not
have to be a manager). You will actually pre-register and receive
a ticket for each session. It will become more important than
ever to choose your sessions at the time of registration to be
guaranteed a seat! Should you find yourself in a session that
isn’t what you expected, please feel free to choose another session.
If you choose to leave an active session, do so with as little
disruption as possible.
What Optional
Events or Spouse/Guest Tours should I plan to attend?
You are welcome to attend any and all of the Optional
Events. Please register early since space is limited.
I feel somewhat
intimidated attending conference for the first time. Do you have
any suggestions?
The first time you attend The AMS Users’ Group National Conference,
it may be a little overwhelming. To assist you in understanding
all the activities and to meet and make new friends, PLEASE attend
the First-Time Attendees Orientation, Thursday, March 12 at 3:30 p.m. Check
your program for the location.
Can I purchase
additional Closing Party tickets?
Additional Closing Party tickets may be purchased separately for
$49. Look for this line item on the Conference Registration Form.
What if
I want to attend the first day, and I want my CSR to attend the
second day of classes. How would I register?
One-day passes are available for purchase. Download the Registration Form and fax it to (972) 409-6299.
What if
I change my mind about the classes I have selected? Should I notify
anyone?
Pre-registration is required for classes. If you decide to change
your selections prior to attending conference, please e-mail or fax
the conference department with your name, ID and the changes you wish to make by Course Number. If you decide to
change your classes once you are onsite, you should visit the Ticket
Exchange Booth on Thursday, March 12 between 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. located in the Registration Area. After Thursday, you will need to go directly to the class you wish to attend and "stand by" for entrance. Once the ticketed members are seated you will be admitted on a space available basis.
What time
should I plan my arrival into Washington, D.C.?
National Conference Registrants - plan your arrival for Thursday,
March 12 to allow time to register, and visit the Exhibit Area before the first classes begin at 2:00 p.m.
What is
the Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations received in writing before 1/9/09 will be fully
refunded. Those received in writing on or after 1/9/09 will be
refunded 50% to cover advanced printing costs, etc. NO REFUNDS
WILL BE MADE AFTER 2/13/09.
